It’s going down in 2 days UFC 101 with BJ Penn VS. Ken Florian as the headlining event.  Definately looking forward to BJ defending his title at 155.  Also on the card are Hawaii boy Shane Nelson and Kendall Groove.  The other highlight of the night will be Silva Vs. Griffen.  So you know where I’ll be Saturday night.. ~JYK

Couple weeks ago we headed over to the “Just Scrap” Ametuer MMA Fights that went down @ the UH Hilo gym. 808empire/Vandal Eyewear sponsored fighter Waylen Corenio dominated his fight for the win.  Check out the pix above from the ringside seats we scored.  ~JYK

If you haven’t heard by now tomorrow night Hilo’s BJ Penn takes on GSP for the UFC Welter Weight Championship. This will definately be one of the greatest mma fights to date. If you can’t order it most bars around the state will be showing the event.
